The Swan

This reminds me of when John Locke gets trapped in the Swan station and sees a bagua on the wall.

Symmetrical Abstraction

I found this site that shows how to make symmetrical abstraction with photoshop. This thing is so simple yet I find the results are amazing. So I've been hooked and have been making a bunch. The results are different every time which makes it really fun and exciting to make. Some of them are up for sale in my Fine Art America shop.

Tahquitz

Lately I've been thinking about my original passion, black-and-white photography. Mainly photography as art rather than snapshots of my kids and dog. I don't have a nice digital SLR so my compositions will have to be created on the computer. This one is from my hike up Devils Slide looking towards Tahquitz.

White Rabbit's Watch

This year's promotion dance has an Alice in Wonderland theme. Being on the decoration committee, my project over the weekend was to draw White Rabbit's watch. It's been a long time since I really sat down and drew something other than doodles. It was nice to totally work on something for four hours. Sharpie on drawing paper taped together to 23 x 32 inches.

Illustration Friday - Rescue

It's been so long since I've participated in Illustration Friday, but I'm gonna try to get back into it. This week's topic is "Rescue".
